University Owned Computers

University-owned computers are those purchased by the university for academic and administrative use. These computers are eligible to have the standard faculty/staff build that allows access to restricted ASU software and systems. This section provides information on purchasing standards, consulting services, and hardware support for university-owned technologies.

IT Consulting

There are many IT Consultants at Appalachian that can assist Faculty and Staff with their office computer equipment. Support requests entered by contacting ITS are routed to the appropriate IT Consultant.

PC and Mac Consulting

The Appalachian IT Consultants also set up new computers with our standard faculty/staff software build by imaging your machine and can assist with data migration. See the software list for PCs and Macs for included software.
