ITS has received reports of a phishing message with a subject line of:
“Campus diversity initiatives update and message from student leaders”
Please be aware that this message is fraudulent and should be deleted without clicking on the attached PDF file.
While the fraudulent message does duplicate content from a message sent in 2015, the one sent today did not originate from an appstate.edu account, and is an attempt to steal AppState credentials.
We have taken measure to address this fraudulent attempt. However, if you did click on the PDF and provided your AppState UserID and Password then please contact ITS Support at extension 262-6266 for immediate assistance.
