Recently, ASU has received a large number of scam emails.  The following rule will assist you in telling if a message is a scam.

If an email asks you for your password and/or future passwords then it's a scam.  This is true regardless of any other aspect of the message that makes it look legitimate.

Please don't respond to these messages.

The IT Infrastructure group will take advantage of the published maintenance window scheduled for Saturday, June 12th.  This work will allow ITIS to begin work on a 10Gigabit upgrade to our core routing infrastructure.   This work may cause temporary instability in the network.   This instability should not be prolonged, but may be exhibited in sluggish network response, and temporary inabilities to reach some services.

AsULearn experienced another brief outage from about 7:20PM to 7:40PM, on Monday, May 31. The latest outage, unfortunate though it was, allowed for collection of important debugging information which points to a possible cause for the outages (including those which occurred on 5/25 and 5/26). Actions today will target mitigating and, hopefully, resolving the issue.
