ITS worked alongside our partners yesterday and we have restored all services. I want to extend my thanks to our faculty, staff, and students who showed support and patience as we worked through this issue. I’d also like to thank my ITS staff for their hard work and diligence dealing with a complex service disruption.
Yesterday was a trying time for technology on our campus. As our reliance and expectations for technology grows, so does the impact of service outages. I recognize the value of Information Technology Services is measured by the efficiencies and service availability we provide to facilitate the University’s mission. As we work with our Vendors to determine the cause for this outage, improving our technology resiliency will always be at the forefront of the conversation. My team and I take this charge very seriously.
