ASU visitor wireless network available

The 'asu-visitor' wireless network is available.

The 'asu-visitor' wireless network, which was previously undergoing maintenance, is available for use. To make use of this wireless network, connect to 'asu-visitor' when in range of an Appalachian wireless access point, open a web browser, and follow the instructions displayed.

The visitor network provides no secure encryption of information and is designed for those who need temporary access when visiting the campus. Students, faculty, and staff that regularly use laptops and other wireless devices on campus should connect to the 'asu' network, which provides WPA2 Enterprise security. Information on configuring the 'asu' network is available on the Wireless Networking Information page.
