Purpose
Tunnelblick VPN Client
Step by step
1. Download the Tunnelblick VPN Client from vpn.appstate.edu. Then Double click on the file
to start the installer.
2. Click “Continue”
3. Click “Continue”
4. Click “Continue”
5. Click “Agree”
6.Click “Install”
7.Type YOUR computers password in to authorize the installer.
8.Click “Done”
9.Naviagate to the “Applications” Folder and double click on “Tunnelblick”
10.Click on the “Tunnelblick” icon in the top right of the menu bard. Then select “Connect to
ASU”
11.Type YOUR computer password into the field to authorize the application to connect to the
configurations files. This is the only time “Tunnelblick” will ask for your computers
password (Meaning, the only time this does this is the first time the application has ever
been run on your system).
12.Type your ASU Username and Password in to the “Pass-phrase” window.
ASU Username: smithjx (smithjx@appstate.edu)
Password: Your ASU Password for e-mail.
Click “Remember in Keychain”
Congratulations ! You are now connected to
the Appalachian State Network via VPN.
