Submit help requests with the new Tech Excel work order system

 

Below are step by step directions on how to submit help requests involving computers, lab or classroom equipment, and more.

Log In:     support.appstate.edu/help, use your email username & password.

 

1.    Left click on the “Click to submit a new incident” link.

2.    Choose one of the options from the “Incident Type” drop down window.

NOTE:   The next window will change depending on which option you choose in step 2 above. For example if you choose Option #1 in the “Incident Type” window, Online Accounts, the next window will provide you w/an “Account” drop down window for you to choose which type  of account you need help with.  However, if you were to choose Option #4 from the “Incident Type” window, you would be asked to Choose a building from the “Academic Building” drop down window & provide a room number.

3.    Provide a Title.

4.    Fill in as much information as you can and click the Submit button.

5.    If this incident pertains to a University computer shown in your asset list, select it.  Otherwise, choose none & click OK when notified that “No asset is selected”.

6.    You will then be taken to your Incident List page showing your most recently submitted incidents at the top of your list.
