How to Connect to Mac Installers Server

Step by step

1. Click the word “Go” from the menu bar located in the top left portion of your computer screen. 

2.  Click the phrase “Connect to Server” from the “Go” drop down menu.

3.  Complete the “Connect to Server” pop dialog box. Server Address:  macsys.its.appstate.edu

Click the work “Connect”

4.  Complete the login window with the your information.

Username:  AppalNet/Novell Username

(ex: smithjj, doejd, smithss)

Password:   AppalNet/Novell Password

5.  Select “Mac Installers” volume to mount on your desktop.  Click “Ok” to mount the volume on

your desktop

6.  Locate the Mac Installers Server icon on your desktop or in a finder window.
