Force Airport to join asu wireless network

Purpose

Force Airport to join asu wireless network

Step by step

Open System Preferences> Network > Airport

 

Select the dropdown “By default, join:” change from Automatic to Preferred networks

 Force Airport 1

In the Network List Make sure only asu is listed. Delete anything else if it is there

Force Airport 2.1

 

Click Options

 

Set “If no preferred networks are found:” to “Keep looking for recent networks”

 

Uncheck the “Automatically add new networks to the preferred networks list”

 Force Airport 3

Click OK then Apply Now

 

Restart the Mac and make sure Airport connects only to the  asu network
